TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to lead our emergency department team as the Medical Director at Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington, Washington. We ask that you be board certified in Emergency Medicine with experience in a leadership role in a medium-sized ED with moderate acuity. This newer facility has an annual census of 16,000 and is a Level IV Trauma Center.

A beautiful and well-appointed community hospital

Skagit Regional Health, the umbrella name for Skagit Valley Hospital, Cascade Valley Hospital and Skagit Regional Clinics, is a health care leader in Northwest Washington, providing advanced, quality and comprehensive services to the people of our communities. Cascade Valley Hospital is a recently remodeled 44-bed community hospital. For the ED, in-hospital radiologist is available from 8 AM to 5 PM weekdays and 8 AM to 1 PM on Sundays with on-call coverage 24/7. Radiology and CT Techs are in-house 24 hours a day. Ultrasound is available 8 AM to 5 PM and on-call evenings and weekends at all times. MRI is available on a scheduled basis, usually within 24 hours, and occasionally stat if resources are available. All CTs are read contemporaneously by a radiologist. Enjoy 24-hour lab and respiratory therapy coverage.

Arlington, Washington, is located in Snohomish County, approximately 10 miles north of Everett and 41 miles north of Seattle. The varied topography of Snohomish County ranges from saltwater beaches, rolling hills, and rich river-bottom farmlands in the west to dense forests and alpine wilderness in the mountainous east. At an elevation of 10,541 feet, nearby Glacier Peak is one of the highest mountains in the country. Desert, lush canyons, waterfalls, forested riverbanks, and great mountain views can be enjoyed by rafting or floating the waterways. Arlington is in close proximity to four state parks, and it is just a quick jaunt to the San Juan Islands where you can enjoy whale watching.
