JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

Primary responsibilities include planning, implementing and facilitating department functions to achieve optimal performance.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors Eligibility Representatives performance in all aspects of job duties, including daily and weekly responsibilities.
  • Communicates cross mapping or D120 issues appropriately; monitors reports for unusual patterns and/or issues.
  • Oversees daily functions of the Eligibility department to ensure productivity and quality assurance goals are achieved.
  • Develops, implements and administers department policies and procedures; communicate changes to staff.
  • Cross-trains employees to provide support for vacations, sick days, and personnel shortages.
  • Collaborates with Senior Representatives to determine training needs for new and current employees.
  • Performs other duties and assignments as requested.

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum three years previous Eligibility experience required.
  • Good oral and written communication.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Eligibility Senior/s
  • Eligibility Representatives

 

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Job performed in a well-lighted, modern office setting
  • Occasional standing/bending
  • Occasional lifting/carrying (20lbs or less)
  • Moderate stress
  • Prolonged sitting
  • Prolonged work on a PC/computer
  • Prolonged telephone work

 

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week. Overtime may be required and can be mandated by Management.
