This role must sit on-site, but can allow for the ability to work four, 10 hours shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

The Clerical Support position is primarily responsible for providing general administrative support to the TeamHealth Basepointe Billing Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Mailing daily claims
  • Mailing secondary insurance claims
  • Pulling EOB requests
  • Mailing refunds
  • Assisting with mail processing
  • Processing bad addresses
  • Complete a daily production log
  • All other responsibilities as requested by management

Sign-On Bonus: A grossed up sign-on bonus in the amount of $750 will be paid in three increments. The first grossed-up increment of $200 will be paid in accordance with the normal payroll cycle occurring with the date of hire. The second gross-up increment of $200 will be paid in accordance with the normal pay cycle following completion of 90days. The third gross-up increment of $350 will be paid in accordance with the normal pay cycle following 6 months. The payment terms of this bonus are predicated on continued full-time employment in this position for a period of one year. In the event you depart from TeamHealth employment prior to the one year period, either voluntarily or involuntarily, you will be required to repay the bonus in the full amount of $750.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Entry-level position, no previous experience required
  • Basic typing skills, 35 WPM with 95% accuracy
  • Accurate 10-keystrokes by touch, 8,000 keystrokes WPH with 95% accuracy
  • Detail Oriented
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organization skills
  • Good analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Able to perform duties independently without direct supervision

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
