Job Description


Vice President, Provider Enrollment is responsible for overall financial and leadership performance across all Provider Enrollment service centers and the National Support Center. The Vice President, Provider Enrollment develops and executes the strategic plan for National Provider Enrollment in service of exceeding TeamHealth goals. Must have a steadfast commitment to standardization, efficiency, minimizing dollars on hold and write-off’s, leadership development and providing optimum service to internal and external customers.


  • Establish and execute the strategic roadmap for Provider Enrollment.
  • Ensure that business strategies are prioritized for the highest value realization aligned with overall company and department goals.
  • Advocate that Provider Enrollment teams and business partners are leveraging technology solutions to manage processes and KPI’s.
  • Establish and monitor KPI’s and implement solutions to improve performance.
  • Regularly review initiatives to ensure they are delivering expected results and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Create a culture of performance excellence and driving productivity optimization with a focus on metrics/data.
  • Provide leader and key stakeholders with metrics driven data to fully understand performance and challenges in a consumable, meaningful manner.
  • Participate and advocate with business partner leadership to develop solutions that align initiatives, support organizational change, and create shared understandings in support of provider enrollment needs.
  • Create a team culture of common values with a steadfast commitment to shared knowledge, modeling servant leadership, supporting, empowering teams while ensuring accountability and adherence to culture and performance values.

Actively participate in professional associations, encourage and support that team members participate in continued educational opportunities, subscribe to industry listservs and participate in on-going professional development, both leadership and technical, learning opportunities. Develop talent for future leadership roles.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in a health care related specialty or business administration.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in executive management of day-to-day operations in fast-paced healthcare related industry;
  • Previous experience in medical billing, credentialing, or provider enrollment required.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment and establish and orchestrate priorities while maintaining a professional composure.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
  • Strategic thinking, breakthrough thinking and creative problem solving skills, showing
  • The individual should be a self-starter, persistent, adept in using metrics to drive performance and driven to succeed.       an ability to overcome obstacles;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Patience and ability to excel under pressure, handling multiple requests often with tight deadlines;
  • Resourcefulness, ingenuity, strong decision making and problem solving skills;
  • Leadership, teamwork and the ability to develop others.

  • Job performed in a well-lit, modern office setting;
  • Moderate travel (overnight and out of town);
  • Occasional lifting (25 pounds or less);
  • Occasional standing;
  • Moderate to high stress;
  • Prolonged hours of work (evening and weekend);
  • Prolonged telephone use; and
  • Prolonged sitting.  

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
