The Patient Coordinator receives incoming calls from patients of a particular health care system, accesses their EMR and creates messages for the clinic's clinical team.

Job Qualifications

  • Equivalent of a high school diploma.
  • Professional, courteous telephone voice.
  • Professional and cooperative office conduct.
  • Previous healthcare related and/or call center experience preferred.
  • Previous EPIC or other EMR experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of self, responsibility and accountability for own professional practice.
  • Exhibit effective communication methods and skills, using lines of authority appropriately.
  • Motivation for self-direction.
  • Flexibility in schedule.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good typing skills (35+ WPM).
