The Clerk II is responsible for supporting the collection agency by performing clerical duties, special projects, and general tasks as assigned. In a high volume environment, the Clerk II assists with the processing of correspondence, conducts dispute and complaint research, assists with processing of ACDV requests through the eOscar portal, along with other duties as assigned.


  • Regular and reliable attendance is necessary.
  • Researches and responds to credit report disputes and updates through E-Oscar
  • Answers phones
  • Process communications data from consumers, attorneys, credit reports, clients etc.
  • Follow up by phone, mail and fax to consumers.


  • Operate office equipment, such as copiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • 40 WPM Typing
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent


  • Minimum 1 year experience working in an office environment
  • Clerical experience with a collection agency healthcare billing company preferred.


Pleasant, high-volume, fast paced, office environment. Ability to meet deadlines and production standards is required. Extensive computer use.


This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
