Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

The Sourcer will be responsible for the front end of the sales process to build a strong talent pipeline for practice opportunities. This individual will utilize direct and indirect sourcing techniques, including complex internet searches, cold calling, social/professional networking, database mining and competitor research to build a strong network of passive and active candidates for D&Y practice opportunities.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sources and screens potential candidates for commercial opportunities.
  • Networks throughout geographic territory to establish recognition of D&Y Staffing and our opportunities in the market.
  • Cold calls, texting, and emailing to achieve recruiting goals and to identify potential candidates for contracting.
  • Maintains a pool of qualified candidates.
  • Provides communication and feedback to Director, Client Services and Territory Managers of the opportunities in which he/she has engaged.
  • Evaluates leads for opportunities and organizational match and discusses those findings with the Director, Client Services and Territory Manager assigned to those sites.
  • Responds to incoming inquiries regarding practice opportunities.
  • Monitors third-party websites for lead generation.
  • Leverages social media skills to generate leads.
  • Utilizes database to log, track, and organize activities.
  • Participates in various projects as requested or assigned.
  • Participates in an integrated work team as a responsible team member.

 

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • B.S./BA Degree preferred but not required.
  • Sales or customer service experience.
  • Social media experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent decision-making/judgment skills.
  • Excellent negotiation/persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision/direction.
  • Ability to work well with deadlines, multitasking, and stressful situations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent computer skills (preferably Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, database, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to rapid change.
  • Ability to handle confidential data.

  • None

 

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Job performed in a well-lit, modern office setting.
  • Occasional lifting/ carrying (15 pounds or less).
  • Occasional standing/ bending/ stooping/ reaching.
  • Light to moderate travel (out-of-town and overnight).
  • Moderate to high stress levels.
