JOB OVERVIEW

This position provides key financial analysis support at the managerial level for the Human Resources department at TeamHealth including providing complex analysis and recommendations within the areas of HR & Recruitment Budgeting, HR Cycles, Benefits, providing oversight to processes traditionally performed by financial analysis function, and providing M&A support.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Human Resources & Recruitment Financial Analysis Management

  • Provides complex financial analysis support and oversight to ensure the operational budgets for the CHRO have proper review for accuracy and also identifies trends, corrects errors, solves problems and participates in strategic planning, etc.
  • Provides monthly financial performance summaries and variance drivers to HR and Recruitment leaders along with quarterly cost projection updates.
  • Provides support and oversight for the financial aspects of the HR cycle work including, but not limited to, the annual bonus cycle, merit increase cycle and budget cycle
  • Partners closely with HRIS and Group HR leads to maintain and ensure HR cycle source data is accurate through periodic data audits
  • Provides executive level financial summaries and key variance drivers for the National Support Center and Recruitment QBRs
  • Partners closely with Recruitment leadership to provide ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Partners with the Benefits team to provide financial analysis support.
  • Partners with Corporate Accounting during the monthly close process to ensure proper accruals and GL entries are captured for CHRO AUs

Mergers and Acquisitions – Compensation Analysis

  • Generates side-by-side compensation and benefits comparative crosswalks for each target by analyzing both compensation and benefits information.
  • Ensures that operations leaders and human resources understand the crosswalks and are able to communicate them to impacted individuals.
  • Understand financial impact of incremental compensation and/or benefits costs for each acquisition and the impact to the TeamHealth Pro Forma
  • Attends weekly M&A deal meetings and other meetings as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance or other relevant field of study or equivalent professional experience

 

Experience:

  • Five plus years of relevant accounting/finance experience with understanding of financial modeling

    • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Experience with an ERP or HCM (Lawson) and financial planning tools (Workforce Planning)
