JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

The Coordinator reports to the Director, Clinical Education and works collaboratively with other team members in the Chief Medical Training Office, IT and operations to coordinate educational programs for clinicians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and manage the yearly required educational program assignments, reporting and tracking
  • Coordinate and manage the reporting and tracking of clinician new hire required training
  • Assist clinicians and leader with training issues
  • Liaison between compliance department and CMTO team/IT team for optimization of compliance education reporting
  • Coordinate and manage the ACLS, BLS, PALS re-certification program
  • Quarterly enrollment administrator for service line educational programs
  • Special projects coordinator for educational initiatives prioritized by the CMTO and Director
  • Assist the Director, Clinical Education with committee work and peer reviews

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or (5) five years related experience
  • Health care experience (RN, Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse) preferred but not required
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including customer service skills (verbal and written)
  • Computer Skills in Office Suite
  • High degree of initiative, willingness to take responsibility, and implement complex educational activities.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, innovation, motivation, organization, productivity and dependability.
  • Must have ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to work on diverse projects and with multiple people.

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Remote position.

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, office machines and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
