POSITION SUMMARY:

The ZirMed Support Representative supports and maintains the ZirMed software. The ZirMed software is used to transmit electronic claims directly to the payers. This position will provide support and maintenance in all areas of this process including database management and enrollment processing tasks.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Confirms daily transition of claims thru ZirMed software
  2. Confirm daily reconciliation has completed
  3. Maintains three (3) Applications Workgroup by performing daily checkoff tasks for front end rejections (non Billing center related). Triages to applicable party for resolution (claims analyst or ZirMed support)
  • Catch - All (by BC)

 

 

 

      1. Investigate why claims reached this workgroup and seek resolution
      2. Reassign to appropriate BC as applicable
  • Application Workgroup (By BC)
      1. Investigate why claims reached this workgroup and seek resolution
      2. Resolving name matching rejections
      3. Reassign to appropriate BC as applicable.
  • Enrollment Workgroup (By BC)
      1. Follow claim enrollment / edit / rejection process
      2. Maintaining spreadsheet
      3. Enrolling claims / ERA with payer
      4. Initiates enrollment paperwork
      5. Requeuing
      6. Archive claims in ZirMed software
      7. Acts as liaison between PE and the billing center (as needed)

  IV. Facilitates ZirMed Process Issues (open Remedy tickets as needed)

  V. Maintains and produces weekly ZirMed Reports

    1. ZirMed Enrollment 205 Edit report – weekly
    2. ERA Opportunities / New Business – bi-weekly

  VI. Attends meetings with ZirMed as needed

    1. Attends BC Remedy call – as needed
    2. Attends Analyst meetings
    3. Attends Bi- Weekly ZirMed Meeting
    4. Attends Monthly IT Ops meeting
    5. Attends bi-weekly ERA Development / opportunities Meeting

  VII. Works with the Director of HCFS Applications to assist with departmental projects, often software related or assists the Vice President with tasks related to the job description.

  VIII. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

              Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain database with accuracy.
  • Ability to follow through on issues to resolution.     

Education

  • High school or equivalent

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Monday thru Friday. 40 hour work week.
  • Overtime as needed
