JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

Collection Agency Team Leader has a primary responsibility of achieving high collection performance, consistently exceeding HRRG’s expected user targets. Secondary responsibilities are: assisting management with production and quality management: assist with supervision over the evening and Saturday shifts and most importantly providing mentorship to other collectors in order to improve overall company performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Days, Evenings & Saturday’s) in addition to regular collector functions:

  • Be a positive influence and mentor to collectors on the floor, leading by example in all aspects of the job.
  • Assist with Incubator and/or Collection Skill Recertification Training Sessions.
  • Monitor break times for all collectors, using sign-out board
  • Production Management Assistance: Observe dialer screens and remind collectors of the need to follow HRRG policy.

Evening Coverage Responsibilities

  • When needed, assist with campaign stop and start times.
  • Answer after hours administrative calls on shift supervisor phone.
  • Shut off coffee maker and lights.
  • Check and lock all doors and set alarm at end of shift.
  • Make sure all employees have transportation home prior to leaving the building.

 

 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Monthly Quality Assurance Audits.
  • Assist other collectors with providing specialist talk-offs as authorized by management.
  • Identify and share new, successful methods and phrases for collecting additional money.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Overtime may be required

Compensation:

Team Leaders (TL’S) will receive an additional $180 per month as additional compensation for the above listed responsibilities. The TL schedule must be approved by the Collection Manager. For additional responsibilities such as Monthly Audits, TL’s will receive a “time adjustment” on the bonus worksheet which is equivalent to the amount of time spent working on the project.
