Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for the coordination of Post-Acute Care (PAC) contract revenue management and related timesheet processing, operational financial analysis, and operations support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage monthly Medical Director timesheet submission process and coordinate with Operations team to ensure timely submission
  • Assist Contract Revenue team with monthly close process to ensure accurate recognition of contract revenue and related provider compensation
  • Manage electronic timesheet system and maintain record of facilities requiring paper timesheets
  • Coordinate with Contract Revenue team to ensure invoices are accurate and meet facility requirements
  • Provide support to financial, legal, and compliance audits related to PAC contract revenue as needed
  • Coordinate collection efforts with Operations and Contract Revenue teams
  • Responsible for coordinating with Contracting and Contract Revenue teams to ensure accuracy of data maintained in the CLM system, including set up of new contracts
  • Assist with reconciliation of provider compensation for periods prior to January 2018
  • Perform reviews and various financial analyses that impact operational performance and decision making by using critical thinking and advanced problem solving skills
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly operations reviews with PAC leadership, VPOs, and RMDs
  • Partner with the Operations and Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely monthly close
  • Support service line budgeting/forecasting process and participate in pro forma business development projects
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Operational Finance leadership in support of service line initiatives

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Accounting or finance background preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines and self-start projects
  • Excellent computer skills (spreadsheet, word-processing, database management)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
