Job Description


The Scheduling Coordinator oversees the coordination of all anesthesia providers. Responsible for preparing schedules and maintaining appropriate staffing levels to assist with creating the daily schedule for a busy and fast-paced practice across all vendor facilities (hospitals and surgery centers) according to daily medical staffing requirements.  Hours will fall between early afternoon and early evening, and can occasionally change dependent on need.


  • Main contact for daily scheduling for physicians and CRNA’s across multiple sites. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions via phone and find available resources to staff site needs. Must be able to navigate frequent changes in the daily schedule based on facility needs.
  • This includes 25+ CRNA's and 25+ MD's
  • Gathering of daily OR schedules from all facilities the day prior in order to make assignments
  • Creating and maintaining yearly Vacation schedules/spreadsheets for MD's and CRNA Done via software
  • Communicate changes to appropriate levels, Physicians and CRNAs
  • Review and respond to incoming calls, texts and emails, outside of regular business hours, regarding next day add-ons or changes
  • Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
  • Ability to analyze and sort complex scheduling information
  • Highly detail-oriented and meticulous
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task with operating phone lines, emails, and schedules
  • Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information
  • Ability to work closely with Facility Medical Directors, Chief CRNA, TEAMHealth Anesthesia VP, Operations, System Medical Director, and hospital surgical services teams to maximize efficiency and productivity within each facility
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task, and move from one project to another as needed.
  • Strong time management, follow-through and organizational skills.
  • Good proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Reviews changes with Chief CRNA and/or site FMD prior to publishing schedule coverage, whenever possible.
