Patient Coordinator

 

Are you currently a CNA looking for a position outside of the hospital setting, shorter shifts, and the ability to work from home?

The Patient Coordinator (PC) title enables you to be the first point of contact over the phone with patients seeking medical assistance and support from their Doctor. The non-clinical PC builds that immediate trust, provides compassion, and empathy with customized scripting to document what is needed before a Nurse speaks with the patient.

We currently have both Part-Time and Full-Time positions available.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • 6 months minimum experience positively interacting with customers (i.e. call center, customer service environment, hospitality industry, healthcare, military experience, high stress work environment is a plus)
  • Professional, courteous telephone voice
  • Dependable, reliable and trustworthy
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Detail Oriented - Accurately process and record information ensuring data integrity
  • Ability to follow scripted information while interacting with patients and a willingness to escalate situations as appropriate
  • Flexibility with scheduling
  • High School Diploma or GED. Some college is preferred.

  • Job performed in a well-lit, modern office setting
