Job Requirements of Clinical Recruitment Manager:
Qualifications / Experience- BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, Health Administration or related field
- 3 - 5+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare or physician recruitment
- 2+ years of leadership or team‑lead experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in high‑volume, complex, or specialty recruitment environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action

The Clinical Recruitment Manager for the Strategic Sourcing & Engagement Team (SSET) is responsible for leading and developing a high‑performing team of approximately 10 Clinical Recruiters focused on delivering strategic, proactive sourcing and recruitment support across TeamHealth’s key clinical service lines. This leader drives sourcing strategy, consultative recruitment practices, recruiter performance, and operational excellence in support of Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Anesthesia, Post‑Acute Care, Behavioral Health, and/or Specialty Services.
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of ~10 Clinical Recruiters (CRs) by ensuring equitable workload distribution, driving achievement of hiring goals, and reinforcing performance expectations. Provide ongoing performance management, including goal setting, KPI tracking, feedback, and career development.
- Design, refine, and execute strategic sourcing, screening, and selection processes, including the creation and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures that enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate quality
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and monitor team KPIs that promote transparency, support organizational growth, and encourage continuous improvement across clinical recruitment functions
- Recommend and implement operational enhancements, ensuring that changes are successfully adopted, monitored, and reinforced within the department
- Partner across Recruitment Operations to develop and optimize sourcing strategies, targeting both active and passive candidates in alignment with specialty and market needs
- Conduct regular pipeline and performance reviews to evaluate open roles, sourcing strategies, requisition aging, KPI performance, and overall recruiter effectiveness, taking action to resolve gaps and barriers
- Serve as the primary communication liaison with the Director or VP of TA, supporting strategic workforce planning for critical openings, new business initiatives, and turnover challenges. Escalate high‑risk or complex issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
- Analyze and report recruiter performance metrics - including days open, fill rates, pipeline activity, and conversion ratios - ensuring data accuracy and adjusting strategies or corrective actions when trends indicate a need for improvement
- Lead targeted recruitment efforts for priority or hard‑to‑fill roles, applying innovative sourcing methods, tools, and approaches to accelerate hiring outcomes
- Partner with Recruitment Marketing and Recruitment Operations to support the organization’s presence at career fairs, conferences, and related events. Occasional weekend travel may be required
- Review and validate recruiter commissions and referral program workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with established policies
- Prepare and deliver operational reports, contribute to strategic workforce initiatives—including premium labor reduction—and support new business startups or transitions as assigned
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to remain knowledgeable about market trends, recruitment best practices, and evolving talent strategies
- Promote a positive team culture centered on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and engagement, fostering an environment where Clinical Recruiters can excel
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational and departmental objectives
