Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

Under the leadership of the Sr. National Director Provider Enrollment-Regional Operations, the Director of Provider Enrollment primary responsibilities are to lead the regional enrollment team in all provider enrollment efforts, ensure adherence to provider enrollment policy & processes with emphasis on reducing cycle time and revenue risk.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Administers assignments and monitors goals and objectives of Provider Enrollment Teams.
  • Monitors work and implements change management as needed.
  • Provides onboarding, orientation, on-going training, development and coaching.
  • Utilizes critical thinking to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Applies continuous improvement efforts to all functions.
  • Contributes to organizational strategic planning as it pertains to achieving provider enrollment goals.

Lead and participate in department and cross functional team meetings

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • Previous related healthcare experience
  • Previous management experience
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multi-tasks;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Ability to work with confidential information and use discretion;
  • Ability to coordinate and meet deadlines and deal with stressful situations;
  • Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and frequent interruptions;
  • Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and effectively communicate; and
  • Ability to work productively within a team.

 

 

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

 

  • Job performed in a well-lighted, modern office setting;
  • Occasional lifting/carrying (10 pounds or less);
  • Light to moderate travel (out-of-town and overnight);
  • Moderate to high stress;
  • Prolonged telephone use;
  • Prolonged sitting; and
  • Prolonged computer work.
