Job Description


The Director of Compensation Administration is responsible for managing the corporate provider compensation team and the TeamPay Central clinician compensation suite. Direct reports include Manager of Compliance, Business Analyst and Contracting Comp Setup Specialists.


  • Clear understanding of clinician compensation organizational structure including regions/ locations/ departments
  • Administration and management of TeamPay Central products and interfaces
  • Maintenance of Organizational master data
  • User Management ( setup and maintenance of user profile)
  • Maintenance of the RVU/ wRVU rates, hourly rates
  • Manage, direct and support department in all matters pertaining to provider compensation
  • Coordinate with Enterprise IT to validate and certify all Comp System configuration changes
  • Responsible for Payroll Process governance and maintenance
  • Ability to influence peers/internal customers to keep standardization a priority and avoid custom setups
  • Project Management Skills to organize and lead department and product initiatives


Job Requirements


  • College degree and 3+ years equivalent work experience preferred, or minimum 10 years working experience in similar role.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in management role
  • Certifications preferred (currently held or ability to achieve once employed):
    • FPC or CPP
    • PMP
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Experience with payroll software preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis & resolution skills
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Required – SmartSheet or other Project Management tools highly preferred)
  • Knowledge of SOX controls as they apply to compensation systems and processes
  • Good understanding of what is involved in end to end payroll processing
  • Proven experience with process improvement and standardization
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to attend to detail
  • Ability to handle stress and conflict
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment
