Job Description

Essential Functions

This position is responsible for selling TeamHealth/IPC’s services to prospective clients by identifying target prospects, qualifying the prospects, coordinating the entire sales process and successfully closing the sale.

  • Develops and delivers sales/marketing presentations for the organization
  • Secures face-to-face client meetings
  • Leads and directs the inside sales team function within the region of responsibilities
  • Builds stake holder value through successful closing of sales initiatives
  • Leads and directs the proposal development process
  • Responsible for strategic planning within region of responsibility
  • Uncovers client needs and presents TeamHealth/IPC’s solutions
  • Attends meetings related to corporate development, strategic planning and executive operations
  • Attends trade shows to market and represent the company
  • Works with key operations personnel to construct a well-defined client target list
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field
  • Two or more years health care sales experience interacting with C-suite executives, thorough understanding of the Post-Acute market
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions desired but not required
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving/decision-making and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency working with spreadsheets and pro-forma development
  • Ability to handle stress and conflict
  • Ability to travel frequently and as needed
