Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

This position provides administrative, technical, and clerical support to the Credentials Manager, Credentials Specialists, and other team members.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drafts employment agreements
  • Drafts employment agreement amendments
  • Inputs data and generates reports
  • Meets deadlines by establishing priorities for information gathering, writing, review, and approval and entering and monitoring tracking data and coordinating requirements with contributors
  • Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining contract database
  • Maintains accurate records
  • Maintains professional and collaborative relationships

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:    

  • Excellent writing skills, including grammar and punctuation
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Assertive and confident communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to rapid change
  • Ability to handle confidential data

Job Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:

•         One to three years of medical terminology experience or medical background

 

 

Experience:

•         One (1) of experience in a medical staff office or credentials position;

•         Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multi-tasks;

 

 

Skills:      

 

 

•         Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

•         Must have excellent computer skills (word-processing, database management, spreadsheet);

•         Ability to work autonomously;

•         Ability to work with confidential information and use discretion;

•         Ability to coordinate and meet deadlines and deal with stressful situations;

•         Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and frequent interruptions;

•         Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and effectively communicate; and

•         Ability to work productively within a team.
