JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for leading, developing and implementing initiatives that support and strengthen TeamHealth’s internal and external brand. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of the Strategic Resources Group, the Manager of Creative Services provides comprehensive oversight of TeamHealth brand execution. This position is challenged to both inspire and brainstorm fresh ideas, execute on deliverables, and captivate the target market. Essential job functions include strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as a strong background in graphic design.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage TeamHealth brand architecture
  • Maintain brand identity consistency through leadership and execution of TeamHealth brand standards
  • Meet with leadership to explain campaign strategies and solutions
  • Monitor, measure and manage brand strength
  • Drive brand understanding and support throughout the company
  • Champion initiatives that support delivery on the brand promise
  • Develop written brand messaging, including elevator pitch, campaign themes, proof points, advertisements (print and digital execution), collateral materials, etc.
  • Help determine identities for new brands and/or sub-brands
  • Anticipate and accommodate evolving brand identity needs
  • Direct the creative process from concept to completion, including the creation of visual brand elements, including graphic design and videography
  • Manage visual communication and brand consistency
  • Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams, vendors and partners
  • Supervise the Graphic Designer and the Multi-Media Producer

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with experience in graphic design, visual communication or related field required
  • Five to eight years of experience, preferably in a national corporate setting
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with senior and executive level leaders
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency and manage multiple tasks and stringent deadlines
  • Good problem-solving/decision-making skills
  • Refined ability to inspire creativity and work well with different personality types
  • Ability to work with minimal direction/supervision
  • Ability to handle proprietary, confidential information
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages graphic design employees, as well as relationships with vendors, freelancers and associated stakeholders
  • Manages videography employees, as well as relationships with vendors, freelancers and associated stakeholders
  • Manage and develop the career development of staff members, including designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers and web developers

 

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Job performed in a well-lit, modern office setting
  • Occasional lifting/carrying (20 pounds or less)
  • Occasional bending/stooping/reaching/pulling
  • Prolonged sitting; and work on a computer
  • Moderate stress
  • Ability to travel once to twice a year

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
