JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Recruitment, the Director provides optimal customer service support along with planning, developing and directing strategic recruitment for physician and Advanced Practice Clinicians within group. The role is responsible for the design, development and implementation of strategies for recruitment services; providing consultation to leadership regarding recruitment and workforce development initiatives; identifies recruitment and workplace trends and opportunities to address challenges and support business strategies. The role does have direct supervisory responsibilities. Works with Regional management to review critical openings, new business development needs and monitors strategy, initiatives and recruiter performance. Relies on high-level experience and judgment to plan and accomplish recruitment goals on a national level.

This is a remote working position working with the Southeast region of the country.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively partners with Leaders to develop and implement short and long-term people strategies designed to enhance organizational effectiveness and support business objectives.
  • Communicates effectively and builds relationship with Senior Clinical and Operational leaders.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the Senior Clinical Recruiters, and Clinical Recruiters assigned to the group.
  • Screens and interviews new candidates for open recruiter positions.
  • Coaches and develops staff and serves as a resource for questions.
  • Manages yearly performance reviews for team.
  • Reviews open opportunities on a weekly basis, monitors average days open and assists with strategic efforts to identify new candidates.
  • Coordinates hot jobs and critical openings and seeks creative methods for reaching new candidates with standards of accountability.
  • Works in collaboration with corporate marketing to manage website placements, journal ads, attendance at tradeshows and general marketing initiatives.  
  • Manages all reporting metrics and initiates standards for TeamWorks, ATS and CRM data entry within respective recruitment team group.
  • Leverages data trends and metrics in conjunction with operational knowledge to recommend strategies and initiatives that will impact key performance indicators.
  • Ability to drive big picture vision and strategy.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with stakeholders to gather and exchange information, gain commitment and advance goals via personal and virtual relationships.
  • Ensures recruitment plans are implemented by facility with key strategies for identifying new leads.
  • Communicates effectively with the Vice President of Recruitment on all aspect of the business.
  • Able identify, assess and communicate crisis situations and collaborates as needed with the Provider Services team.
  • Coordinates monthly recruitment meetings and provides educational opportunities for staff development and collaboration within the department functions of contracting and credentialing.
  • Rounds weekly/biweekly with direct reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to lead, direct and supervise the work of others.

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Follows the norms and guidelines established for communication, production, efficiency, conflict resolution, decision-making, problem-solving and interpersonal relations.
  • Bachelors in Business, Human Resources, Health Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience and four years leading teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to negotiate.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and capable of working in a high stress environment.
  • Must be able to think strategically and offer solutions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages Senior Recruiters, Recruiters and Associate Recruiters

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Job performed in a well-lighted, modern office setting;
  • Occasional lifting/carrying (20 pounds or less);

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
