Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW: This position is for a Call Back Coordinator in our 24/7 call center. Our Call Center is an integral part of TEAMHealth Acute Care Services, our essential duties are to support and facilitate calls for several of our Team Health facilities. In addition we also support our Kaiser AIN program, and provide occasional routine generation of worksheets and reports.    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •         Daily responsibilities include handling high volume of calls for multiple facilities/hospitals •         Ability to identify and report unusual or difficult problems to management for correction •         Maintains personal adherence to professional confidentiality standards established within the                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 department and in accordance with legal, ethical and hospital standards (ex: HIPAA compliance). •        Ability to multitask between assignments •        Ability to correctly document and relay patient demographics to on call physicians •         Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: •         High school diploma or equivalent required •         One year of office experience preferred with previous experience in hospital or clinic registration, or other medical office experience preferred •         Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook •         Strong organizational and analytical skills •         Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technical skills •         Impeccable attention to detail when following instructions •         Experience in coordinating simultaneous assignments by assessing deadlines, establishing work priorities, and coordinating work schedule •         Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both orally and written) •         Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, professional demeanor •         Ability to work well with others, and work with minimal direction/supervision •         Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize work; handle stress and conflict •         Resourcefulness, ingenuity, strong decision making and problem solving skills
