Job Description



Within the Non-CBO Contract Revenue Department, this 6-12 temporary position is responsible for Collections and Accounts Receivable (AR) research and resolution.


  • Assist with monitoring of the accounts receivable aging and contact customers to secure payments on outstanding account balances
  • Help with resolving customer issues to minimize payment disputes and AR adjustments
  • Identify problem accounts and escalate as appropriate
  • Resolve discrepancies between invoices and appropriate accounting supporting records
  • Research client related inquiries and issues as needed. Provide backup, or credit facilities due to billing issues
  • Collaborate with various business units to ensure accuracy of the A/R aging and work with the Regions on collection efforts; make recommendations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and complete up-to-date client contact information.
  • Research unapplied or unidentified payments
  • Reconcile all month end activities for Accounts Receivable
  • Work directly with Non-CBO Manager on any and all reconciling items
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 1-3 years business to business collections related experience
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office with high proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables and VLookups
  • Experience in Lawson software is a plus, specifically Lawson AR), (BR), and (AC) modules
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Excellent time management skills to complete multiple tasks and meet stringent deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently of immediate and direct supervision.
