OVERVIEW:

The Para-Professional is an in-office role that is a key member of the finance team, completing challenging special projects and providing professional support to a fast-paced corporate finance department, using and maintaining several different systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work independently to complete assigned tasks
  • Responsible for scheduling and project management
  • Perform minimal office duties, including maintenance of electronic files and processing correspondence
  • Serve as a point of contact and liaise with other departments
  • Interact with all levels of management within TeamHealth and its affiliates, including outside business associates, consultants and government representatives
  • Support department by responding to information requests. Prepare purchase requisitions and check requests for payments and vendor invoices
  • Maintain confidentiality of TeamHealth office activities
  • Complete an extensive variety of special projects as needed
  • Update databases, and other tasks as assigned by department

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
  • 3 - 5 years of professional work experience
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Flexibility to handle administrative and department task-based assignments
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent computer skills (spreadsheet creating and manipulation, database management, internet, e-mail)
  • Ability to support multiple persons with minimal direction/supervision
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • May require occasional seasonal overtime
