The Chart Swap Department is responsible for processing attorney requests, (LOA’s), for billing records, affidavits, subpoenas, and balance verifications. The department will contact the attorney or legal assistant by comment in Chart Swap if additional information is required.

OVERVIEW:
The Chart Swap Department is responsible for processing attorney requests, (LOA’s), for billing records, affidavits, subpoenas, and balance verifications. The department will contact the attorney or legal assistant by comment in Chart Swap if additional information is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review all requests for HIPAA compliance prior to processing.
- Check in the IDX system to verify patient.
- Process subpoenas and shipment pending daily; other requests will be processed by date received/requested.
- Perform all other duties and assignments as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six months previous experience working with insurance in an office or hospital environment.
- Computer proficient
- Ability to focus and complete assignments with minimal supervision
