Portfolio Manager

OVERVIEW:

As a Portfolio Manager, you will work closely with the TeamHealth Institute (THI), IT, communications/marketing, and service line leaders to coordinate key educational projects. Whether you are supporting team success or managing timelines, your work ensures that education initiatives stay sharp, compliant, and results-driven.

This position reports to the VP of Clinical Education and Patient Safety and Clinical Education.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate, Coordinate & Present: Manage a diverse project portfolio and clearly present progress to leadership and stakeholders
  • Deliver Results: Oversee coordination of complex, multi-phase projects—ensuring goals, timelines, and expectations are met
  • Support the Team: Provide day-to-day oversight of project teams by directing, and resources to ensure your project teams thrive
  • Be the Connector: Serve as a bridge between stakeholders and the CMTO department, setting clear expectations and keeping everything on track
  • Problem-Solve: Identify risks early, communicate updates clearly, and escalate concerns as needed
  • Keep Us Current: Manage the CMTO Channel (intranet)—updating content, processes, and resources regularly
  • Drive Innovation: Partner across teams, including research institutions, to create programs that set us apart in the industry
  • Communicate Strategically: Draft and distribute educational updates that are thoughtful and informative to target audiences
  • Pitch In: Contribute to key administrative tasks that support internal experts and collaborators


Job Requirements:


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar
  • PMP certification required
  • Healthcare experience required
  • Experience writing content to include creation of newsletters
  • Organized and detail-comfortable tackling multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Customer-first mindset and ability to adapt to different personalities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Initiative, accountable, and the ability to drive results in a team environment
