Overview

The Clinical Relations Specialist is responsible for assisting with the management of the southeast group Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) and Physician team related to maintaining APC and Physician collaboration tracking tools, including data collection, licensure assistance, and quality assurance in alignment with state and facility laws and policies. The Clinical Relations Specialist is responsible for working in close collaboration with the Onboarding and Credentialing team. The individual will be responsible for being the point of contact for APC supervision inquiries and questions.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
  • Track and audit state and facility compliance for the southeast group (SEG) APC team after initial submission by the credentialing team
  • Track and Audit Board Notifications when a Supervising Physician and/or APC leaves the company or facility terminates for state compliance
  • Create, monitor, implement, and audit approved Quality Assurance (QA) plans according to state and facility policies
  • The Clinical Relations Specialist will follow and maintain patient confidentiality appropriate with HIPAA compliance standards at all times
  • Create and maintain data for completion of SEG APC and Physician collaborative dashboard
  • The Clinical Relations Specialist is expected to identify and retrieve all missing or incomplete QA information, including required signatures related to the QA process
  • Work in close collaboration with the operations support and credentialing team to identify process improvement opportunities related to APC and Physician collaboration communication
  • Audit data integrity within Credentials Software System and State Board Websites
  • The Clinician Relations Specialist will assume tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by the SEG APC Director
  • The Clinician Relations Specialist shall develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the team

Qualifications / Experience
  • General knowledge of the Advanced Practice onboarding and credentialing as well as knowledge of APC supervision requirements
  • College degree preferred
  • Strong initiative
  • Knowledge with Smartsheets; very strong experience with MS Office especially Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to effectively multi-tasks
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to work independently with speed and accuracy
  • Detailed oriented with efficient time management abilities
  • Ability to deal effectively with confidential information
