JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for processing employee Website access in accordance to outlined protocol. Position is also responsible for website user deactivation. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Obtain web portal administrator access for multiple carrier websites
  • Maintain web portal administrator access for websites that require regular portal activity to stay active.
  • Assign user accounts to staff as needed.
  • Deactivate user accounts when staff termination form is received.
  • Maintain user id account listing.
  • Pull low volume carrier remits for from web portals for posting, when Patient Accounts does not have a user account.
  • Download all Medicaid NC Remits from web portal and save on shared drive weekly.
  • Work with carriers on web portal issues affecting staff.
  • Unlock user accounts or reset passwords when web portal requires done by website administrator.
  • Assist IDX Coordinators in generating monthly reports.
  • Assist in special projects as assigned by management.

 

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of physician billing
  • Computer proficient
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • None

 

 

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week. Overtime may be required and can be mandated by Management.
