REMOTE OPPORTUNITY

 

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for overall communication plans, client interfacing, logistical coordination of provider engagements and partnering with internal Sales Management to ensure appropriate resource allocation to a specified set of TeamHealth client accounts.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs as the initial point of contact for client locum requirements to achieve consistent, managed expectations and delivery of service.
  • Proactively tailors and executes communication plan with clients to achieve expected results.
  • Identifies on-going and intermittent staffing needs of client and coordinates with D&Y Sales Management to allocate appropriate recruiting resources and ensure recruiting plans are executed.
  • Partners with Locum Sourcing Role to effectively optimize internal and external locum resources to meet clients staffing needs.
  • Manages client staffing schedules (as applicable) and ensures timely delivery of candidate presentations for identified vacancies.
  • Participates in all start-up strategy calls as the locum optimization subject matter expert providing guidance as to best practices for initial staffing.
  • Facilitates conflict resolution and relationship management regarding service and quality issues pertaining to client accounts.
  • Facilitates discussions of external locum buy-out with clients and providers
  • Coordinates with client and D&Y credentialing resources to ensure providers receive hospital privileges by specified assignment start dates.
  • Partners with client to identify mutual strategies to better service and support client requirements (i.e. licensing out-of-state physicians, credentialing secondary candidates for more complete coverage, etc.).
  • Identifies opportunities within client organization to provide potential operating/process efficiencies and partners with D&Y Sales Management to move related recommendations forward.
  • Ensure maximization of candidate availability/utilization on facility schedules
  • Generates and distributes reports internally (to D&Y and client leadership) relating to mutually defined staffing metrics.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as needed that may be assigned by management.

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:       

  • Four year college degree in business administration or related field and/or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in project management-related role, preferably healthcare related.
  • Three (3) or more years of direct healthcare staffing experience in the locum tenens industry.
  • Excellent computer skills with intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and an ability to learn new computer applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Job is performed in a well-lighted, climate controlled modern office setting.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Moderate bending and standing.
  • Prolonged sitting.
  • Extensive telephone usage.
  • Extensive work with computer/PC.
  • Moderate to high level of stress.
  • Occasional travel to client locations.
  • This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax, etc.) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
