JOB OVERVIEW 

A Project Manager manages multiple priority projects, under the general direction of the Strategy Pillar leads and the CCO.  This position sets up meetings, establish meaningful and forward-propelling agendas, coordinates and plans activities and set due dates based on the decisions made in meetings, escalate risks/issues related to project work, and follow up on open items. Due to the nature of the work in strategic initiatives, this position requires strength in the areas business acumen, leadership, change management, and influence.

The individual must be highly energetic, solution driven and flexible in his/her interpersonal style.  Outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal expression are required.  The individual should be a self-starter, persistent, adept in using metrics to drive performance and driven to succeed.  As a change agent, he/she should be proficient in leading and motivating change and coaching others to make meaningful performance and behavioral shifts.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Under limited supervision, manage multiple projects and ongoing operational responsibilities while monitoring, summarizing, communicating, and reporting status to the CCO and their staff.
  • Captures team’s ideas and input with clear concise meeting documentation.
  • This position sets up meetings based on establish project deadlines.
  • Establishes meaningful and forward-propelling agendas and communicates advance of meetings.
  • Co-facilitates with leader to ensure participation and diverse thoughts are brought forward.
  • Assist in pulling data used to propose project budgets.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
  • Coordinates, plans activities and set due dates based on the decisions made in meetings, escalate risks/issues related to project work, items.
  • Identifying appropriate resources, facilitating team, ensuring actions are completed timely.
  • Developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances,
  • Act as a strong leader/facilitator in the development and implementation of work processes.
  • Develop and contribute ideas and opinions about strategic issues for consideration by senior management.
  • Handle other duties, meetings and projects as assigned by management

 

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Management, or other relevant field of study or equivalent professional experience.
  • Project Management or Change Management experience
  • Health experience preferred but not required;
  • Strategic thinking, breakthrough thinking and creative problem solving skills, showing an ability to overcome obstacles;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Patience and ability to excel under pressure, handling multiple requests often with tight deadlines;
  • Resourcefulness, ingenuity, strong decision making and problem solving skills;
  • Leadership, teamwork and the ability to develop others.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
  • Superior communication skills – verbal, written, presentation and negotiation;
