Job Description

In this role, you’ll use smart technology to empower TeamHealth stakeholder’s enterprise-wide to make the best decisions based on timely, accurate and actionable information. You love SQL and Big Data Technologies (so do we), and you’ll get to work with the best Big Data and massively-parallel-processing databases to speed analyses. You’ll have broad exposure to the workings of TeamHealth and you’ll think critically to tackle complex challenges. When other teams need to know about providers, productivity, performance, or other data insights, they count on our Data & Analytics team, and you will deliver! 


  • You’ll be part of a progressive, technology-focused Agile team that is dedicated to identifying and delivering solutions to our customers and employees with smart technology and teamwork.

  • You’ll proactively engage in both internal and external learning opportunities.
  • You’ll have responsibility for the full development life cycle of the solution, including detailed design, code development, code reviews, unit testing, build/test support, data quality monitors, deployment activities and post-deployment support.
  • You’ll build great leadership skills by managing and optimizing the EDA Tribe ETLs along with analytic operations: job-stream definition and management, parameters, scheduling, monitoring, communication and alerting.
  • You’ll juggle multiple project timelines simultaneously (and gracefully) and estimate development duration and effort for all projects.
  • You’ll communicate openly and candidly with your Team Leader and other teammates verbally and written.
  • You’ll be viewed as a mentor by others in and outside the team for technical solutions.
  • You’ll be hands on with Big Data management activities. This includes acquisition, ingestion, transformation, and data quality.
  • Provide thought leadership relative to data architecture current and future state influencing the direction of the organization.
  • Provide technical leadership for all aspects of Data Management
  • Drive real-time integration solutions using microservice architecture (REST API, Pub/Sub)


Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • BS in Computer Science or related fields
  • Proven analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate well even to non-technical users
  • Have a strong desire to teach and mold other developers along with proven ability to work autonomously or in a team setting along with mentoring your best practices to others.
  • 10 years of SQL experience with the ability to write complex SQL.
  • Be intimately involved in learning and teaching industry trends and practices along with walking the talk from your past experiences.
  • A proven track record of fearlessly designing, deploying and evolving innovative solutions to meet business requirements using multiple platforms.
  • Have a strong desire to teach and mold other developers along with proven ability to work autonomously or in a team setting along with mentoring your best practices to others.
  • MDM(Master Data Management)Experience with various domains, Healthcare MDM is a bonus!
