This is a Remote Position with travel in an assigned territory. This position is open to qualified candidates throughout the United States.


Team Health is working to build a best-in-class Recruitment strategy. Individuals will have the opportunity to help launch the next evolution of the Recruitment organization and blaze the trail of innovation in the Clinician Services sector. 

The Resident Physician Recruiter establishes strong working relationships with physician residents and residency training programs to increase the number of new resident hires.  This position is responsible for coordinating residency recruitment events (40 annually) and recruiting residents to work with TeamHealth to staff hospitals-based opportunities. This position also organizes and attends residency recruitment functions to increase awareness of TeamHealth and to ensure that TeamHealth is the practice of choice for all residents.


  • Researches residency program demographics within assigned territory to identify residency program contacts: program director, program coordinator, and/or chief resident(s)
  • Initializes contact and establishes relationship with residency programs to familiarize them with TeamHealth
  • Organizes and attends residency recruitment functions for residency training programs within assigned territory which may include applicable virtual presentations as necessary
  • Establishes and operates within individual working budget for residency recruitment outreach
  • Contracts with vendors and negotiates pricing terms for recruitment function
  • Maximizes TeamHealth exposure to residents by marketing the announcement of the recruitment function through multiple mediums.
  • Responsible for presenting TeamHealth brand and information at each residency recruitment event
  • Collaborates with TeamHealth physician recruiters to match residents with desired TeamHealth locations/opportunities
  • Work with supervisor to provide constant communication and feedback to TeamHealth divisional leadership and stakeholders on details of upcoming or past residency recruitment events
  • Updates and enters all resident information into the TeamWorks system.
  • Develop and drive strategies to achieve individual and team event and hire goals
  • Manage travel plans and associated expenses


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or other relevant field
  • Two to three years of marketing, sales, physician recruiting, event management or other client facing role experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to excel under pressure and handle multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • The individual must be highly energetic, a self-starter, and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel to 40 planned events annually
  • Must be within short commute to National airport
  • Budget management experience preferred but not required
