This is a REMOTE position!


The Provider Compensation Manager is responsible for managing the provider compensation specialists as well as is responsible for general oversight of multi-state payrolls being compiled by the provider compensation specialists. This role is also the primary contact for interactions with corporate payroll and accounting. 


  • Manage direct reports
  • Review and/or approve all aspects of provider compensation including:
    • Contract interpretation
    • Data entry
    • Expiring rates and fees
    • Worked hours
    • Manual check requests
    • Post payroll error corrections
    • Ensure appropriate approval has been obtained as needed
  • Generate and interpret financial reports and spreadsheets for internal and external requests
  • Report and escalate all noncompliance issues according to corporately mandated guidelines
  • Compile performance measures including the number of providers processed and errors by department
  • Load worked hours/checks systems for errors
  • Review PPECs and Expense Reports
  • Calculate the Accrual
  • Review the Payroll
  • Close the books (except Independent Contractors)
  • Point of contact for corporate payroll and accounting
  • Ensure that timely and accurate information is provided to incoming calls/emails related to provider compensation.
  • Triage clinicians’ concerns/questions on a regular basis and ensure field operators are aware of any issues that may impact clinician engagement.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years equivalent work experience in accounting, bookkeeping and/or payroll
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in supervisory role
  • Experience with payroll software preferred
