The TeamHealth Akron, OH Billing Center is currently recruiting for an Medical Billing Trainer.
JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
The Medical Billing (IDX) Trainer has the overall responsibility for the orientation and training of all newly hired employees, as well as remedial training for employees whose QA exceeds 5% or whose production goals have not been met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review of departmental policies and procedures for all newly hired employees
- Conduct Medical Billing application training and/or retraining in the following applications:
- IDX BAR and PCS
- MRTS
- VBX
- OnBase
- Assist managers and supervisors in development of training and retraining guides
- Oversee security access following all polices and procedures,
maintain security changes and as quarterly reports
- Distribute new policies and procedures to management and staff and maintain policy acknowledgement database
- Assist Corporate Training Director with development of training materials for new programs and procedures
- Assist with departmental production as directed by the Vice President
- Assist with new software policy and procedure development
- Special projects as directed by Vice President
