JOB OVERVIEW

Provide team leadership and management to maintain and support software and database systems in an Agile environment. Responsible for managing and directing team of analysts through the entire product lifecycle. Responsible for managing and directing team in continuous improvement of Agile methodologies and best practices while upholding technical standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Effectively manage, develop, and train support team members.
  • Develop and implement service standards and procedures for the Software Service Delivery team.
  • Maintain customer relationships and improving response and delivery times
  • Update service methods and processes to improve overall efficiency
  • Resolve software incidents and assist the team for more complicated tickets.
  • Conduct periodic appraisals of team members and identify areas for improvement
  • Create and present regular reports / metrics to leadership
  • Promote the support team to the senior management and work to ensure it is viewed as a core business asset
  • Lead, manage and direct the team supporting products by managing resource allocation, and ensuring that technical standards and Agile best practices are followed.
  • Partner with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Project Managers to ensure all project documentation, processes and artifacts are produced in a timely manner.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • Duties are performed in a modern office setting.
  • May require some occasional work in the evenings and on weekends.
  • Prolonged sitting, with prolonged work on a PC.
  • Serves as part of the on-call rotation.
  • May require some light travel.

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, and fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems or an applied science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with C#, C, Java or other similar languages.
  • Experience with the Microsoft .NET development platform.
  • Experience with relational database design and SQL.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with modern design patterns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
