JOB OVERVIEW

The inside sales consultant’s (ISC) main responsibility is to generate leads for the M&A BDVP. The inside sales consultant will schedule appointments with the owner or other key individuals of targeted physician groups. Additionally, the inside sales consultant provides sales support to the BDVP.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Meet or exceed goals for scheduling appointments (leads).
  • Develop strategies that lead to achieving goals.
  • Perform activities that will result in appointments such as, phone calls, emails, and direct mail campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate information in TeamHealth’s CRM database as it pertains to physician groups and sales activities.
  • Follow the formal sales process which includes pre-call research, call planning and post-call activities.
  • Review information sources on a regular basis to identify trends/changes in healthcare and the service lines that TeamHealth sells.
  • Participate in all department meetings and trainings. Some meetings require air travel.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

  • Occasional mandatory travel (overnight and out of town; approximately 25% per year)
  • This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.

 

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years proven, successful inside sales experience
  • Experience selling in a B2B environment
  • Experience selling healthcare services is preferred but not mandatory
  • Results-driven
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective interpersonal skills
  • Focused, self-reliant, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute strategy
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to function as part of a team as well as independently
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
  • Proficient in current Microsoft Office and contact management software
  • Professional in demeanor and appearance
