TeamHealth is aligning its healthcare data assets, products, and intelligence together to provide scalable value to the business. We need a detail-oriented, team player and dynamic IT Analyst to join our Revenue Strategic Solutions team. This role works closely with the Billing Centers as a Business Partner to triage and resolve issues affecting our medical coding throughput through our TeamHealth medical coding application (Armor).




  • Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support which including troubleshooting break-fix issues, assist with template configuration requests, and answering questions to internal users.
  • Evaluate, reproduce, and troubleshoot technical issues to establish the root cause of problems and support related resolution.
  • Follow the lead from the Sr. Business Analyst to write and manipulate regular expressions (Regex) to support accurate template matching automation processes.
  • Directly support Sr. Business Analyst on triaging and resolving technical/template issues reported through ICE HELP support as assigned.
  • Proactively communicate and set expectations with stakeholders on fixes implementation.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or other technical background
  • Understanding of medical coding practices (Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS), International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM)
  • Strong understanding of and practical exposure to content transformation through the use of regular expressions (Regex).
  • 3 + years of experience on a customer or technical support role.
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuous improvement practices and team work.
  • Strong people skills and detail oriented. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
