Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:   Responsible for strategic oversight of commercial business development team and client relationships.  Ensures organizational efficiencies are identified and service level agreements are attained.  Obtains ongoing feedback from business partners and internal account and recruiting managers to help craft mutually beneficial financial and service outcomes across the organization. 



  • Develop business relationships with commercial stakeholders in support of growth objectives while identifying and increasing the value of services offered to commercial clients.
  • Gain understanding of expected locum consumption across specialties and regions; recommend staffing plans to ensure fulfillment of identified annual requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service offering to our commercial clients through new and/or improved processes.
  • Review open job opportunities at a global level and partner with D&Y recruiting leadership to ensure needs are appropriately prioritized and given necessary resources to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Review recruiting activity related to commercial opportunities and partner with D&Y Recruiting leadership to ensure delivery metrics are meeting defined expectations.
  • Assists Schedulers and Recruiting leadership with resolution of client and provider conflicts.
  • Facilitate regular sales and financial progress meetings with D&Y leadership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • At least five (5) years of proven previous strategic Business Development/Sales/Marketing experience preferred.
  • At least five (3) years of experience in a managerial leadership role in Sales marketing managing a team of employees.
  • At least three (3) of experience in the staffing industry with health care staffing experience strongly desired.
  • Health care scheduling experience strongly desired.
  • Demonstrated successful strategic management of customers.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to create positive relationships with all levels of personnel.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must be energetic, visionary and results oriented.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and integrity based decision-making.
  • Excellent problem-solving/decision-making skills.
  • Good computer skills with proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets; familiarity and use of social media and CRM applications.
  • Ability to travel as required for attendance at client site meetings, trade show conventions, industry meetings, etc.




  • Job is performed in a well lighted, climate controlled modern office setting.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
