Job Description:

This position is responsible for interacting with end users to define, produce and distribute ad hoc reports requested by the management staff within the organization (Affiliates, Billing Operation Centers, Executive Management, etc.). 

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with end users to define and document ad hoc report requests.
  • Responsible for the timely preparation/production of ad hoc reports as requested using IDX DMBS and/or Analyzer applications.
  • Work with HCFS Programming to develop custom DBMS columns as needed.
  • Coordinate with HCFS Programming to develop Excel Macros as needed.
  • Provide VP of Applications weekly status updates on completed and outstanding requests.
  • Utilize Remedy Application to track user requests.
  • Serve as back-up for the department’s daily, weekly and month-end reports preparation and distribute process.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Applications or VP of Applications.

 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrate the ability to understand the IDX Billing Software system including BAR, PCS, DBMS and ANALYZER.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn SQL language.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the position and is able to work independently carrying out routines, tasks and assignment on a scheduled basis with minimal management intervention.
  • Ability to work with a PC Network and associated computer software including Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal communication.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years office environment in healthcare organization.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skill.
