SUMMARY:

The Clinical Practice Manager serves as the liaison between the Behavioral Health facilities and the regional leadership. The Clinical Practice Manager, under the direction of the Vice President of Operations (VPO), is responsible for operational performance of the Behavioral Health facilities in the assigned region.  The Clinical Practice Manager provides operational support to their PODS, coordinates client service activities as well as market outreach.

There is 25%-50% weekly travel to our Behavioral Health facilities as well as travel for business development opportunities in the DFW and  San Antonio markets. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as liaison between facilities and TeamHealth leadership
  • Oversee operations to include financials, staffing and vetting 
  • Develop and implement business development and retention strategies with primary care and specialty providers
  • Develop and implement business development and retention strategies with managed care organizations
  • Coordinate and lead onsite meetings with providers and client leaders on a monthly and  quarterly basis

 

 

 

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or equivalent, in a healthcare related field
  • Behavioral Health experience is highly desireable 
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in a healthcare related field
  • Ability to analyze and create complex financial schedules
  • Experience presenting facility performance information to physicians and facility leaders
  • Strong time management skills in order to meet project deadlines
  • Willingness to flex and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively – orally, in writing, in person, virtually and on the telephone with all categories of people within the company to include leadership, physicians and post-care partners
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and in an organized manner
  • Must live in the the identified market with the ability to travel 50% within market for site visits and market outreach
  • Available to attend company and professional functions after normal work hours
