Sign-On Bonus: A grossed sign-on bonus in the amount of $750 will be paid in three increments.  The first grossed-up increment of $200 will be paid in accordance with the normal payroll cycle occurring with the date of hire.  The second gross-up increment of $200 will be paid in accordance with the normal pay cycle following completion of 90days. The third gross-up increment of $350 will be paid in accordance with the normal pay cycle following 6 months.  The payment terms of this bonus are predicated on continued full-time employment in this position for a period of one year.  In the event you depart from TeamHealth employment prior to the one year period, either voluntarily or involuntarily, you will be required to repay the bonus in the full amount of $750.

 

JOB OVERVIEW:

 

  • This position is responsible for processing daily claims, fulfilling EOB requests from other departments and processing refunds.
  • Employee must have good organizational skills and computer knowledge. Must be organized and able to multitask.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

  • Processing daily claims.
  • Processing secondaries.
  • Fulfilling EOB requests.
  • Processing refunds.
  • Assisting with mail.
  • Maintain a daily production log.
  • All other responsibilities as requested by management.

 



PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

 

  • This job is performed in a well-lighted, moderate office setting.
  • Must be able to lift 10 to 15 pounds.

 

 

Job Requirements

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months experience working with insurance in an office or hospital environment
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to stay focused and follow tasks through to completion.
