Job Requirements of Director Solutions Delivery:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, healthcare or related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise IT and/or healthcare process analysis, applications and solutions
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with product development using agile methodologies as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, agile coach or similar role
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving strategic initiatives
- Strong interpersonal communication skills required, including the ability to work diplomatically across diverse teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer orientation, highly collaborative, positive and energetic, detail oriented
- Experience coordinating simultaneous assignments by assessing project deadlines, establishing work priorities, and coordinating personal work schedules
- Prefer demonstrated experience implementing SaaS packages and other software solutions to support regulated business processes
- Experience with project management strategies to plan and execute complex activities
- Resourcefulness, ingenuity, and maturity in decision-making and problem solving
- Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
- Strong organizational and analytical skills accompanied by flexibility to quickly adapt to a changing business environment

OVERVIEW
The Director of Solution Delivery serves as a strategic leader and liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment on strategy, value realization, prioritization, and solution execution. This role oversees the full lifecycle of solution delivery from concept and design through development, deployment, and support while managing a high-performing team and ensuring financial accountability through capital budget oversight.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, EIT leadership, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of business needs and delivery of effective solutions
- Lead and mentor managers and team members, fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performance culture
- Guide planning and portfolio prioritization with business leaders to maximize value delivery
- Responsible to participate and advocate with business partner leadership to develop, validate, and maintain their strategic plan and to prioritize their portfolio for the highest value realization aligned with overall company goals and objectives
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical resources, effectively bridging technical and business languages, viewpoints, and capabilities to create a clear, shared understanding of process and solution requirements
- Responsible for development and maintenance of Management Action Plans, charters, one-page plans, and project status updates to align with established EIT patterns and practices
- Champion Agile / Scrum methodologies, serving as a Product Owner or Product Manager to optimize delivery across multiple teams
- Promote cross-functional integration and collaboration to prevent silos and accelerate solution delivery
- Advocate for technology-enabled innovation, identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes
- Ensure adherence to solution architecture/design principles and best practices
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of EIT capabilities in order to deliver the best solutions to business challenges
- Work directly with others to navigate project roadblocks and mediate between EIT and business partner priorities
- Manage vendor, supplier, consultant relationships, including negotiation and performance oversight
- Responsible for maintaining and updating skills by participating in educational opportunities consistent with the technologies and methodologies established at TeamHealth
- Ensure compliance with documentation, time tracking and reporting standards
