VP Operations Finance, Post Acute Care

OVERVIEW
This role will provide strategic financial leadership and operational oversight in support of the Directors of Finance and the SVP of Financial Operations, with primary responsibility for financial performance and reporting across the Post-Acute Care and Acute Behavioral Health service lines.
The position will play a critical role in driving financial discipline through the development and management of key processes including financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning. The individual will oversee the compensation methodology within the Post-Acute Care service line, ensuring clinician-related costs are accurately captured, allocated, and reported in alignment with organizational financial objectives and be responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize cost structures and improve financial performance through data-driven analysis and operational insight.
Serving as a strategic finance partner to regional and operational leadership, this position will help guide decision-making, evaluate growth initiatives, and support the development of scalable operational strategies that align with the organization’s broader financial and clinical objectives.
Success in this role requires a collaborative and influential leader who can build strong relationships across the organization, particularly with non-financial leaders, translating complex financial information into actionable insights that drive operational outcomes and sustainable growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with SVP Operational Finance and Operations teams to identify opportunities for enhanced operational and financial performance for PAC service line
- Oversees preparation for monthly and quarterly operations reviews
- Coordinates annual budget process and financial forecast process
- Oversees financial modeling and analyses to support strategic initiatives, including but not limited to, M&A opportunities, business development expansion, and service line expansion
- Oversees clinician compensation plan; manage analyst team determining fee structures, lead discussions with operations team to set rates and develop communication materials for clinicians
- Develop transitional budgets for all new business
- Provide data analytics to managed care contracting to help in negotiations with payers to assist in developing new contracts
- Provides leadership to teams supporting operations decision support and performance improvement analytics
- Provides leadership for accounting and contract revenue teams
- Support the financial reporting needs of the PAC service line
- Manage team by setting expectations and supporting professional development
