Patient Coordinator (Remote/Non-Clinical) AccessNurse

Overview

The Patient Coordinator (PC) serves as the first point of contact for patients seeking emergency and non-emergency medical support from their provider.

In this role, you will:

  • Answer high-volume inbound calls from patients
  • Provide compassionate, empathetic support using guided scripting
  • Build trust and ensure a positive patient experience
  • Accurately document patient information and needs
  • Prepare detailed reports for nurse triage teams

Schedule
  • Full-time & part-time options
  • Afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts available
  • Includes weekend/holiday rotation


REMOTE: TRAINING CLASS DATES

  • Monday, July 13th, 2026 - Friday, July 17th, 2026 9A-5P (EST)
  • Monday, July 20th, 2026 - Friday, July 24th, 2026 1P-9P (EST)

100% ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED







Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer and typing skills
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Background and reference check required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree
  • Previous high-volume inbound call center experience
  • Healthcare or medical-related experience

Home Office Requirements
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions
  • Ability to maintain a secure, confidential workspace

Pay
  • Base Pay is $17/hour
  • +$1/hr shift differentials for evenings (3pm–11pm Mon–Thurs)
  • +$3/hr shift differentials weekends
  • +$1/hr for Bilingual English/Spanish speakers
